Datable 1675. Drawn scale, just over 4 ft to 1 inch. \par \par Wren replicated the vaulting pattern of the concave recess in the study design, and finessed the profiles of the imposts above the small order, the base mouldings, and the design of the panelling and dado rail. No saucer dome is shown in the aisle vault. The fascia moulding above the impost cornice is also about 4 inches too high. On WRE/2/2/6, datable before the start of construction, the aisle saucer dome is introduced and the fascia is lower. \par \par Characteristic of Wren\rquote s draughtsmanship is the use of thicker and thinner ruled pen lines to suggest light and shade on wall edges and moulding profiles.\cf0\b\f1\par }
