  • Description
    The first drawing is a panel inset featuring a floral swag motif. The drawing is in pen and is unfinished. The second drawing is a panel inset featuring a Neptune figure. A bust of Neptune holding a trident sits in the center of the penl and is surrounded by fish and natuical plants and animals. Drawn scales for each section of the panel are written in pencil and red ink. The third drawing is an architectural plan for the Infantry Barracks in Canterbury. The plan is for the front facade of a two-story building with three chimneys and a pedimented entryway. The pediment is decorated with a crest featuring a lion and unicorn. There are written scales for the width and height of the buling as a whole as well as for the individual stories and windows.

    Access is strictly by appointment only with the architectural archivist. Material dating from 1990 to the present day is not currently available for public consultation. Some records are subject to a closure period of 75 years under the Data Protection Act.
