Sketch design for a window, executed on two sheets of joined paper in pencil, ink and watercolour.

Sketch design for a stained glass window. The design features a female saint playing a stringed instrument, cherub heads, organic and geometric patterns and round spaces for two further figures. A second proposal for the lower section is overlaid on a second sheet of paper. This design features three inscription panels instead of space for further figures.

Access is strictly by appointment only with the architectural archivist. Material dating from 1990 to the present day is not currently available for public consultation. Some records are subject to a closure period of 75 years under the Data Protection Act.
