The drawing is executed in watercolour, ink and pencil on paper.

Scene depicts Christ standing on a cloud. Above him appears to be a bright light. Below him are 6 disciples in various attitudes. The whole scene is surrounded by a classical arch and columns. At the bottom of the scene on either side are two fields each with the word 'Heraldry' inside.

Access is strictly by appointment only with the architectural archivist. Material dating from 1990 to the present day is not currently available for public consultation. Some records are subject to a closure period of 75 years under the Data Protection Act.
