This sub-series contains images of the statues and sculpture on the exterior of the Cathedral: photographs of the relief sculptures on the West Front, by Francis Bird; photographs and negatives of exterior decorative relief panels; photographs and a newspaper cutting of the decorative keystones; photographs of the sculpture on the North Transept; photographs of the sculpture on the North Transept, North East and North West Bastions; photographs and negatives of the North Transept and North Portico sculpture; photographs of the North Nave Aisle sculpture; photographs and negatives of the sculpture on the exterior of St Dunstan's Chapel and the Trophy Room; photographs of the sculpture around the Dean's Door, on the South Transept; photographs and negatives of the North West Bastion west elevation carving below the upper cornice; photographs of the replacement of statues; photographs of the measuring of the statues; and photographs and negatives of the original statue of Queen Anne. This file also includes negatives and 35mm slides of the relief panels on the West Front.

Access is strictly by appointment only with the architectural archivist. Material dating from 1990 to the present day is not currently available for public consultation. Some records are subject to a closure period of 75 years under the Data Protection Act.
