A rebuild of the organ undertaken by Somers Clarke, George Martin and Father Willis between 1897-1900 saw the organ console of 1872 replaced with this model.The preservation of the dome in the 1920s instigated its removal and replacement. The console was adapted for display in 1999 by N.P.Mander.\par
