\viewkind4\uc1\pard\f0\fs17 Organ console, Henry Willis III, 1930. This console was added to the Cathedral after the 1920s work to strengthen the dome was complete and the organ was returned to the quire from its temporary home in the nave. It remained in place from 1930 until the organ rebuild 1972- 1977 by N.P. Mander. It was adapted for display by Mander in 1999.\par
