Watercolour and pencil drawing showing proposals to gild the screens in the choir. On the left is a fairly detailed sketch of one of the choir screens, although the right-hand panel is left blank. The top, bottom and left-hand panel are covered in a yellow ink wash. The centre panel is left uncoloured (and presumably ungilded). There are pencil guidelines around the edge of the sketch. On the right hand side are several other sketches, unfinished and fairly rough. One sketch appears to be a side-on view of a wall including friezes and decorative mouldings. Another appears to be a caption plate for underneath a carving.

Access is strictly by appointment only with the architectural archivist. Material dating from 1990 to the present day is not currently available for public consultation. Some records are subject to a closure period of 75 years under the Data Protection Act.
