- Description physiquePencil, ink and watercolour drawing on paper showing a proposed design for a Prie Dieu standing on a marble step in the choir.
- DescriptionPencil, watercolour and ink drawing showing a proposed design for an elaborately carved Prie Dieu for the Choir of the Cathedral. Prie Dieu literally means 'Pray to God' and a prie dieu is a desk, sometimes with a sloped shelf or arm rest and kneeler where someone can pray. This design shows both the elevation from the front and the elevation from the side and details of the end of the Prie Dieu. The front elevation shows either end as a sort of carved column with the central panel composed of three elaborate floral designs.
