Datable 1675-76. Drawn scale, 1 ft to 1 inch.\par \par This profile was developed from the cornice and attic in WRE/2/3/6. It refines the profiles of the base and cornice mouldings of the attic sketched loosely in pencil either side of the upper apse window in that drawing, and is also lacking the crowning plinth, found in all subsequent designs for the attic (see WRE/2/3/7). The draughtsman\rquote s hand is recognisable from the numbering on the scale bar: the \lquote 3\rquote with a straight stroke at the top, and the \lquote i\rquote for a \lquote 1\rquote (see also, WRE2/3/9 and 13, WRE/2/4/8 and 15). \par \par \b Reverse\b0 : a pencil-drawn part-elevation of the stone block construction of radiating voussoirs.
