Elevation drawings for the proposed pulpit staircase, executed on tracing paper in red and grey watercolour, black ink and pencil. The drawing is mounted on a sheet of white paper. The mount is actually part of the original drawing, as it contains the scale and Penrose's signature.

Access is strictly by appointment only with the architectural archivist. Material dating from 1990 to the present day is not currently available for public consultation. Some records are subject to a closure period of 75 years under the Data Protection Act.
