Low relief cast of two fragments of an Anglo-Scandinavian gravestone, painted plaster. The original stones from which this cast was made were discovered somewhere in the City of London before 1884 - they possibly stood in the early 11th-century graveyard of St Paul's Cathedral .They may have been carved by the sculptor responsible for another stone, for which a cast exists in the Cathedral collections, inventory number 5077.
