This photograph is of a medallion carved by Grinling Gibbons of Sir Christopher Wren. The photograph is labelled not for reproduction and copyrighted. Of the 36 photographs in the album, these mainly show details from the choir and stalls and organ. There are figures of angels from above the organ, carved heads of cherubs, carved panels and freizes, putti and angels and two putti supporting the royal arms, possibly from above the Lord Mayor of London's Throne, finials and capitals. There are also photographs of the carving from the Bishop of London's throne, in situ and another photograph of the Royal Arms in front of the Tijou screens. These photographs are all uncaptioned. The next photogrpahs are captioned and include details of the offering to the main arches, carvings and friezes on piers C and D, the pendentive to barrel arches in the north west bastion and sculptured figures on the west angle of the South West Tower- two of the gospel writers. \par }
