1888. The date 'A.D. MDCCCLXXXVIII' is included in the gate design.

Elevation showing the reworking of the Tijou gates leading from the domw area to the north / south quire aisle. The drawing is executed on paper in pencil, and yellow and grey watercolour. The drawing has been mounted on cream card (while at London Guildhall).

Elevation of re-worked Tijou screens leading to the north / south quire aisle. The drawing shows the spaces in the screen where the gates from the quire screen will be fitted. There are also various sketches relating to the screen.

Access is strictly by appointment only with the architectural archivist. Material dating from 1990 to the present day is not currently available for public consultation. Some records are subject to a closure period of 75 years under the Data Protection Act.
