Nave Altar

Correspondence, estimates and accounts relating to the nave altar including carpeting and new sculpted aluminium and perspex fish, vine and wheat motifs by sculptor John Skelton. A letter dated 8 November 1973 suggests that this work was cancelled due to lack of funds. Includes references to some of Skelton's other work, a photograph of aluminium and perspex vine and wheat motif, and an illustrated pamphlet titled 'Sculpture John Skelton'
