- Ámbito de contenidoThe bulk of these drawings, which detail parts of the Cathedral Dome, date from the post-war period and show damage to the structure and plans for repair work. Included in the group are a series of plans detailing the long and short ribs of the Dome, and others showing their position in the Cathedral. Another group shows plans for scaffolding and similar temporary structures to be erected. The sub-series comprises 8 groups of drawings in all, entitled: ‘Structure Between Inner and Outer Domes’, ‘Dome Ribs as Situated in the Dome’, ‘Short Ribs of Dome’, ‘Long Ribs of Dome’, ‘Elevations of Walls of Dome Pockets’, ‘Elevations of Base of Dome’, ‘Dome Scaffolding’, ‘Notice Board in the Golden Gallery’.
