Description
Watercolour perspective showing proposed sovereign's throne and organ case in the western apse of the chapel. Possibly a presentation perspective created to support the appeal for funding the wood carving. The throne is not exactly as executed in 1928-1930 and an organ was not installed. A similar drawing (SPCAA/D/6/1/18) shows the scheme without the organ case.
Conditions governing access
Access is strictly by appointment only with the architectural archivist. Material dating from 1990 to the present day is not currently available for public consultation. Some records are subject to a closure period of 75 years under the Data Protection Act.
