    Watercolour perspective showing proposed sovereign's throne and canopy in the western apse of the chapel. Probably a presentation perspective created to support the appeal for funding the wood carving.
  • Archival history
    Found at the Foreign and Commonweath Office Main Building, Whitehall in January 1991, brought to the Government Art Collection and conserved by Keith Holmes in February/March 1991. Offered to St Paul's Cathedral as a gift in 2011.

    Access is strictly by appointment only with the architectural archivist. Material dating from 1990 to the present day is not currently available for public consultation. Some records are subject to a closure period of 75 years under the Data Protection Act.
