There are 7 photographs showing action taken regarding tie-rods from Wren's era. Two show tie rods in the architects office, looking towards Pier A and the Bastion, two show tie rods in the East End of the Library corridor, looking towards the bastion and the south pier of hte nave, two show the arch next to the quarter dome, in the architect's room and one shows the tie-rod opposite the quarter dome, also in the architect's room. Each photogrpah has a typed annotation explaining where the photogrpah is taken from and what action was taken as well as the date of the photograph. \par }
